Citzens and Saints Set to Release New Record "Join the Triumph"

BEC Recordings has announced Citizens & Saints' forthcoming sophomore album "Join the Triumph". Set for release November 11th, the new project follows the band's self-titled debut CITIZENS. Citizens sold nearly 30,000 albums, helped by the success of their radio single "Made Alive". The band was recently forced to rename as "Citizens and Saints" after discovering a British band of the same name.

With the name change announcement, the sophomore album brings a new chapter for the band and frontman Zach Bolen. The band was previously unable to tour as Zach was serving at Mars Hill, but with the reduction of that roll this year, Citizens & Saints should hit the road beginning Fall 2014.

Citzens and Saints hope their music can do one thing - unite the Church by proclaiming the gospel through song, and "Join The Triumph" is the message they want to convey. It's a message Zach and his bandmates, Nate Garvey (keys), Nathan Furtado (bass), Spencer Abbott (guitar), Jeremy Kelderman (percussion), Adam Skatula (drums) and Brian Eichelberger (co-writer/producer/keys), have woven throughout their sophomore release.

"Join the Triumph" reminds the local church that they're part of the big-"C" Church - a victorious body whose sole job is to proclaim God's Kingdom across the Earth.

Dear God, sometimes my "testing" season seems so long. Please give me courage to endure until the end. Help me not to bail! You said you would bless me for hanging in there - I will not give up on you or your promises. You are with me and will see me through this trial.
