Discovering Joy in the Book of Philippians

On Nov. 5th 2006 life for the Barrick family changed forever. Driving to their home after watching their 15-year-old daughter Jen sing in the choir, little did they know that careening toward them was a drunk driver doing 80 miles an hour with his lights off. All 4 members of the family suffered injuries, parents Andy and Linda and their kids Jen and Josh.

Jen Barrick suffered a traumatic head injury and doctors didn't think she could make it. Even if she did, they said that she would not be able to walk and yet, here she is today, walking, talking and most importantly, worshipping and praising the Lord!

Out of this horrific accident was birthed a ministry; an international radio program; and a stronger desire to share God's grace and a continued passion to share God's word.

God is using them to inspire and give hope to hurting people all over as they share their miraculous story of God's faithfulness and healing in the midst of tragedy. They recently have released a new Bible Study "Total Bliss".

Life is rarely full of total bliss. In fact, it can be hard and painful. But as a follower of Jesus, there is a SOURCE of JOY inside of you that is always available when you reach for it.

Join Linda & Jen Barrick as they unpack the secret to everlasting joy. This 5 week study of Philippians will take you on a journey with the Apostle Paul as he encourages and challenges us to:

- Discover the Source of True Joy

- Uncover the Secret of Contentment

- Release Anxiety and Embrace God's Peace

- Experience the Fruit of a Joyful Heart.

Dear God, sometimes my "testing" season seems so long. Please give me courage to endure until the end. Help me not to bail! You said you would bless me for hanging in there - I will not give up on you or your promises. You are with me and will see me through this trial.
