Nabeel Qureshi was raised in a family who loved Islam. He was taught from a young age to love Islam and Allah, and that Islam is a religion of peace.
When 9/11 occurred, Nabeel's beliefs were shaken. The "Islam" that those people believed in doesn't seem to be in line with the Islam that he was brought up with. At the same time, he was attending university and has met new people who were Christians. He began to throw his questions about Christianity to one of his new friend, who was actually able to give him an answer. From him, Nabeel learnt more about the bible, the reliability of the bible and tasted what it means to have a Christian faith.
At the same time, Nabeel was also studying the historical foundations for Islam. That was when he realised that the religion which was taught to him, was not the same historical nature of Islam. Nebeel knew he had to make a choice - to continue the faith of his fathers, or to accept the Christian faith…
Nabeel was a speaker with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. Sadly, he passed away Saturday September 16th, 2017 at the age of 34 after a year long battle with stomach cancer.
