Winter is a great time to get some reading done. If it's a little too cold for you to head outside, grab a coffee and settle in with a good book. Today I have a couple great finds for you to add to your reading list.
First a new book about worship. Darlene Zschech, the incredible worship leader who wrote the powerful song "Shout to the Lord" has just released this book called Worship Changes Everything. Darlene writes about what worship really means to her and how it should be part of our daily lives, in all areas. Sharing about her own journey through a cancer diagnosis and personal life experiences, this book will inspire and encourage you as you learn to live a life of worship.
For all the moms out there, I love this new book by Karen Ehman and Ruth Schewenk called Hoodwinked. This book identifies 10 Myths about Motherhood and why we just need to stop believing certain things about our parenting. I love the topics covered, like "Everything depends on me" or " My child's bad choice means I am bad mom" - and so many other great chapters. There are personal response tools at the end of the book to help mom's get on track, and this is really a great resource for moms.
Finally, I'm really excited for you to check out Forgiven by Terri Roberts. Terri was the mother of the shooter who made headlines when he opened fire in an Amish school house in 2006. This is her story of what happened after that, and how that tragedy took her on a journey of forgiveness and relationships that would have never seemed possible. This is a must read and you won't be able to put it down, and it will encourage your heart.
There you have it. Some great reads to keep your heart warm and encouraged this winter season. All available in our estore (CLICK ON THE BOOK TITLES TO TAKE YOU THERE)
