Juno Nominee Jaylene Johnson Talks Music, Faith & Personal Struggle

Jaylene Johnson joins Kevin Pauls in the studio to discuss her album "Potter & Clay" which was nominated for a Juno in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year category.

Jaylene also openly shares about her fertility struggles as well as some of the career setbacks she faced after a brutal car accident in 2004, which left her unable to tour.  She explains that these difficult times helped her to shape the music that she produced on this record.  In the midst of these trying times she held on to the fact that "God does not desire to leave us in the desert but to lead us through."  She ultimately was lead to a place of surrender, hope and God's sovereignty.

Dear God, sometimes my "testing" season seems so long. Please give me courage to endure until the end. Help me not to bail! You said you would bless me for hanging in there - I will not give up on you or your promises. You are with me and will see me through this trial.
