It was a cold December day in Dallas, Texas, when Sheila Walsh's 10 year old son requested a thermos flask of hot chocolate because he is going to run away from home.
Upon questioning, it was revealed that he wanted to leave so that he can experience various adventures and have amazing stories to tell. However, he returned home from his "journey" on the same day.
Sheila was asking him that night if he had a good day and he replied, "Yes I did. But I think I would have a better time if my bag wasn't heavy."
Would that be your answer to Jesus when you get to heaven? That you would have enjoyed your journey better if your bag wasn't heavy?
Jesus said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
Come to Jesus today and lay your burdens at His feet. He will take care of you and give you rest.
