Today know that when life happens God will never forget or reject the needy.
Today's encouragement comes from verse .No matter what you have, are or will go through, God will not forget the rejected and the needy. Rejection comes when we are not accepted, when we are not believed or considered for something. Rejection breeds discouragement and refuses to accept us.
Have you felt like that?
Stacy shares that as a 12yearold girl, she experienced the rejection her stepfatherher. One day his angry words echoed, "What are you going to change about yourself?" to answer, as she was not even 12She felt humiliated, she needed assurance not shame, she needed love not rejection. umiliated she managed to say, "Maybe, not do so much homework?" Unsatisfied with her answer he grabbed the back of her neck and yelled, "You will sit and write out 100 things that you need to change about yourself!"
That was hard for her. She believed the lie that she was not good enough. That took root inside of her.
As life happened, she chose to look for love and comfort in the arms of people would validate her. She felt ashamed and isolated because she never felt good enough, pretty enough or accepted. She gained weight and felt that she did not have a voice to share how she felt, who could she trust?
Are you feeling rejected today?
God will not forget the needy. No matter what you have endured, no matter what you have experienced by the hands of others you can rest assured that there is hope for in you in your affliction.
