Self Control - The Brain Smart Path

  1. KNOW WHAT YOUR MOTIVATION IS

Other reasons might be to have great energy, look great, make great decisions, be a great role model, and avoid the dinosaur syndrome (big body, little brain). Write down 5 things that motivate you and look at them each day. 

  2. PROTECT YOUR DECISION MAKING ABILITY
    People make better decisions when they know their motivation, their blood sugar is stable, they get 7-8 hours of sleep each night, have healthy vitamin D and omega 3 levels, drink little to no alcohol, and eliminate the lies that drive failure. 

  3. LITTLE LIES DRIVE FAILURE 
    How you think dramatically affects how you feel and every decision you make. The lies you tell yourself are one of the biggest factors that drive illness. Some lies that drive failure include:

    -       "I don't want to deprive myself."

    -       "I can't eat healthy because I travel."

    -       "My while family is overweight, it's in my genes."

    -       "I can't afford to get healthy."

    -       "It's Family Day, Easter, my birthday, Christmas, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday..."

    There is always an excuse to hurt yourself. When you stop believing every thought you have, the quality of your decisions and your health will increase dramatically.  

  4. FAILURE IS NEVER FATAL
    Failure is never fatal unless you stop trying. Turn bad days into good information. Learn from your failures and keep working at it until you get it right.
