TORONTO, ON [March 15] - Toronto based pop-rock band Manic Drive are thrilled to announce their have received their first Juno win at the 2015 Juno Awards for Best Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year, for their highly anticipated 2014 album "VIP". Brothers Shawn and Michael Cavallo and longtime band mate Anthony Moreino, have gotten the feedback they had hoped for and are happy to continue on a creative path as a musical trio breaking on to the pop music scene.
Title single "VIP" has already hit number six on Air 1 Radio Network, and stations across the United States and impacting multiple Top 30 Billboard Charts. The fun upbeat song enlightens listeners to know that they are just as VIP as those with celebrity status. It also proved to be a huge success following the September 2014 release when the band opened for Thousand Foot Krutch and LeCrae at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, performing for an overwhelming audience of 18,000.

Produced by Oh, Hush! (CeeLo Green, Jamie Grace) and Nick Baumhardt (Stellar Kart, Britt Nicole), the band enlisted vocal collaborations with Manwell (of Group 1 Crew) on the title track, as well as fellow Canadian Trevor McNevan from Thousand Foot Krutch on the song "Electric." Recorded in Chicago, Nashville and their own studio in Toronto, VIP is filled with infectious power-pop melodies and lyrics rooted positivity, hope and encouragement, and the band is thrilled that these messages were received and had such a positive reaction.
