Every single one of us will face storms in life. There will be moments of great adversity. Bible teacher and author, Sheila Walsh is no different.
In her own life, she was diagnosed with a tumor. Her doctor thought it was most likely to be malignant. At the same time, Sheila was due to film some of "The Storm Inside" (her latest book title) DVD study series. So her doctor agreed to delay Sheila's surgery for a week.
Coincidentally, the last segment Sheila had to film was title "Moving from despair to hope" - from that moment of overwhelming despair, to hope. Something in her clicked.
If Sheila was asked 2 years ago how she would respond to this medical storm that she was facing, she would have said that she believed that God will bring her through this storm and she would praise Him when He does.
Now, the critical lesson that clicked in her is this: Worship Him IN THE MIDDLE of the storm.
When there is not the slightest hint of light in the horizon, praise Him.
Simply because He is good, He is trustworthy and he is worthy of all praise.
He is with you, ALWAYS.
